MAC Ruby Woo
Every girl must have at least one red lipstick. ;)
Updated Entries: MAC Angel Lipstick Review and MAC Freckletone Lipstick Review
One of the best selling MAC Red lipsticks. The other one is Russian Red, which is redder and darker. Both are matte lipstick, so they can be very drying but has an amazing staying power. I prefer the Ruby Woo than the Russian Red because it’s brighter and slightly pinker; it’s a very retro red.
Face of the Day
Very Pin-up Girl-ish here. <3
MAC Ruby Woo: Hit or Miss? Definitely a HIT!!!
Real Techniques Review/Makeup Tips
Real Techniques are make-up brushes designed by Samantha Chapman of Pixiwoo fame. The brand is a beauty blogger favorite because it is often featured in either their monthly favorites and every day make-up routine.
What makes these brushes unique? The Real Techniques line has a color-code system and each color corresponds to a key step in make-up application: Flawless Base (gold/yellow), Enhanced Eyes (purple), and Perfect Finish (pink). This color-code system, in my opinion, makes the process of applying make-up a whole lot fun and easier because I’ll instantly know which brush to use. Not to mention, these brushes also use names as reference instead of numbers.
My Skin Care Routine
Acne was a big, big problem of mine back in high school. I would get them all over the place: the nose, under the nose, on my cheeks, on my forehead, under my lip, and so forth. My acne problem was nothing but a huge embarrassment.
Cringe-worthy high school photos under the cut. Eww.
DGJ Organics Hair Care Review
Visiting England did not only change my perspective, but also the way I take care of my hair. Did you know that those stuff they put on regular shampoo and conditioner can actually do more damage than help your hair? When I found out about this, I immediately bid goodbye to salon-based products and their evil silicones, and said hello to organic and hair care products that actually works! <3
I would like to introduce the DGJ Organics, an organic hair care developed by celebrity hairdresser and colourist Daniel Galvin Junior. I honestly never heard of the brand before but it was organic and only cost £5.99 (PHP380) per (250ml) bottle. I thought that was pretty cheap for a UK product that claims to be organic and SLS-free.
