This is not a DIY project made from scratch. We saw this mermaid 4/4S iPhone case in Hong Kong and because the seller didn’t have the same design for iPhone 5, my mother convinced me to get the case and just transfer it to a clear/transparent case. And lucky for me, I was able to snag a free transparent case. So, all in all, I only paid for the original case which was worth PHP300+ only.
It’s pretty easy to design your own iPhone case. All you need is a plain, preferably a transparent case (You can order online at CFYG, just mention my name when ordering), a glue gun and your design/materials. For a more visual approach, check out this tutorial. Enjoy!

Right before the Chinese New Year weekend, I received a lovely dress from Edressy. I chose this dress because of its mermaid-y feel. The overall look could’ve been perfect if I was still a redhead but because I’m not anymore, I figured I’ll just do an Alice in Wonderland inspired shoot. Blonde hair + blue dress. Go figure.

It’s kinda sad that 1) I gained weight over the CNY weekend (I blame my dear, loving boyfriend for being hungry all the freaking time. I told him I look fat in these photos and he was like, “no, you’re not.”) and 2) it started raining while I was preparing for the shoot. The hotel’s lounge area has this huge garden-like backdrop which can make me look like I’m really in Wonderland but it’s been raining cats and dogs in Singapore and I don’t want to ruin this lovely dress.
I just love the details on the bodice. They’re beautiful and intricate. I just love it! <3

With all honesty, this dress was created with great quality. I am in love with in and the the design is just full of life. The dress is whimsical, elegant and simply beautiful. I’m really thankful for Edressy giving me an opportunity to have such lovely dress that I can wear at parties.
