As you may all know, I went to Broadway Centrum a few weeks ago to watch Eat Bulaga! live. Eat Bulaga! is the longest running noontime show in the Philippines and is currently broadcasted under GMA 7. Mom invited me to go and since I didn’t have anything productive to do on that fine afternoon, I agreed to go.
Call time was two hours before the show and in-between breaks, Norman and Negra (photo below) was there to guide and entertain us.

Five hours with no food or water. I could go out the studio and eat but I don’t want to do so because someone will accompany me, missing out the whole purpose of watching the show live.
Prior to the show, the crew gave us a briefing in case of emergencies. I think it was really thoughtful of them to give pointers like these, since we’ll never know when calamities strike.

That famous Sexbomb dancer… I forgot who she is.

… Big butts don’t lie.

Pinoy Henyo with Joey De Leon and Vic Sotto.
Moving on, the show was alright. It was fun but I was a bit disappointed that none of the celebrities interacted with any of the audience during the break. I supposed that’s normal but it would be really nice if celebrities, since they’re a public figure and all, would be more approachable during live shows especially to those who visited for the very first time, like the balikbayans. I do hope I don’t get sued for this or whatever.

In love with Pia Guanio’s dress.

Remember, Multiply? :) I’m sure you do. Back then, that site was my sanctuary of thoughts and memories… and my source of random online shopping!!! :)
Filipinos are very creative people. Even though it was a breach of the terms and conditions, they used Multiply as a bustling marketplace for everything — clothes, make-up, quirky finds and gadgets. But due to the huge drop of users back in 2007, the team behind Multiply had to sit down and analyze the next step. Now, they’re back again with a new platform. I’m proud to introduce to you the Multiply Marketplace!
Two Sundays ago, I was invited by Azrael to attend a conference with other bloggers and collectors. In the conference, Multiply and other speakers gave several tips on how to set-up an online business and how to use the new Multiply Marketplace. With the new platform, you can now purchase your items with different payment methods: BPI, BDO, G-cash, Paypal and credit cards. Not to mention, Multiply will serve as a mediator between the buyers and sellers. This kind of move is quite impressive since it will lessen the possibility of scammers and bogus buyers.
If you’re interested in buying something at Multiply, feel free to read David Guison’s guide. I’m still choosing which to buy though but wow, I’m drooling at those pretty vintage finds I just saw.
MANGO recently launched their Fall/Winter 2011 collection that were styled by the country’s best up-and-coming stylists: Myrr Lao To, Patrick Galang, Teej Nepomuceno, Bianca Santiago-Reinoso and Anna Canlas.

L-R: Erika of ShopDainty, Cariza, Dianne, Jessa and I at McDonald’s. :)
Thanks to Cholo dela Vega, Ericka Bugia and the whole team behind Connect Agency for inviting us to this lovely event.
