This photo was taken on November 12th, 1988. I was more or less, three weeks old at that time and the lovely lady holding me is my mom. She might probably kill me for posting this since she looks like an awful mess taking care of me but I like this photo. I like this moment. 

Mom, if you’re reading this (and I know you will), thank you for everything. I love you.  

Happy Mother’s Day!

Remember this list? This is #6: I’m going to study in Singapore. :) 

The unknown status of my application was my constant worry for the past two weeks and it’s finally here. Yesterday, despite the never ending rain and scary storms, I finally got the approval from the university and immigration. I felt a sense of relief when I finally got the e-mail because it’s a confirmed sign that I’m going to go there and study. 

My orientation starts on the 17th but I’m going there a week earlier to find a place to stay. Which means I have less than two weeks to spare. I’m trying to set up a meeting with the people that matters to me the most, including friends I’ve made through blogging. In fact, we’re going to have a movie date next week. I don’t have my BB right now, so I can’t broadcast it on the BBM group but if you want to join, just send me a TA. :) 

Thank you Lord and to my dad for this. :) 

P.S. This is the reason why I had to end the giveaway a day early. I’m going somewhere this weekend and I need to pick a winner ASAP!
