The Style Mermaid by Kisty Mea • Ahoy! *wink* This entry has been on my drafts for days now. I didn’t want to post it until I’ve made a decision: to keep the shoes or not. It’s a pretty pair but they’re a bit big for me. Even if the color scheme is so out of place with my outfit, they make me look taller. *u*  Anyway, let’s proceed with the details of the outfit post first. I got the anchor top in Forever 21 last March. I remember the day I saw it, I was in Forever 21 roaming around with no intention of buying anything. I was only there since the store has two entrances/exits. Then, I saw the top and I simply had the *I’ve got to have it” moment. *u* It was also the same day where I bought my seafoam sweater.  So will I sell the shoes or not? Find out this June! :)

The Style Mermaid by Kisty Mea • Me and Frankie My hair color is a dead give away that this is an old photo. I miss being a brunette but I like my current hair color. I wish there’s a way to sport a different hair color every week be like Ramona Flowers. Anyway, I‘ve stumbled upon this photo while cleaning out my Facebook account and I thought I’ll write about a post of my “everyday look”. Most of the time, this is how I dress up: shirt and shorts, + my current favorite comfort shoes. You can describe my style as “simple” and “ordinary”. But for me, it’s comfortable and laid back. I think people nowadays have this misconception that in order to be fashionable and stylish, you need to wear heels, cover your face with make-up, layer yourself in different types of clothes and/or simply wear expensive clothes. Let me emphasize that they’re only there to enhance you. I can’t give you any specific pointers but I think the first step in becoming a fashionable, stylish and even confident young lady, you need to know what looks good on you and that whatever you wear makes you feel comfortable. :)  And speaking of comfort, you might want to try and join Wacoal’s blogging contest. They’re giving away PHP20,000 gift certificates!
