The Style Mermaid by Kisty Mea

The Style Mermaid | Kisty Mea • Heart, Spikes and Everything Lace
These were the ingredients that were chosen to create the perfect awkward pose, lol. This is actually the second dress I ordered from OASAP. I don’t know why but I find it hard to wear clothes that are made of lace. I somehow feel that lace exposes my flaws and who wants that? This dress however is lovely. Not exactly my kind of style though.

Finally an outfit post! :)
As you may all know, I got sick a few weeks ago and this disabled me to do anything but sleep and watch some TV series (I’m currently watching FRIENDS). Because of this, the stuff from my sponsors sort of piled up. Not that I’m complaining!
I couldn’t think of a title so I’ll just use my current favorite Japanese phrase. Google it if you want to know what it means. :) My friend who is currently studying in Japan (lucky dude, he’s also a scholar there!) told me the translation is correct but if you think I’m wrong, please let me know.

Wearing a lace cross bralet from River Island, asymmetric high-waisted pleated skirt from VJ Style, rivet/spikes necklace from VJ Style and black onyx ring from OASAP, glittered pumps from Aldo :) [[MORE]]
My overall look is so dainty and neutral, so I thought I’ll balance it a bit with edgy pieces. The skirt is really pretty but a bit small for me, so I think I need to order a new one. If the skirt won’t fit my sister, then I might sell this. :)

I’ll take this opportunity to praise Singapore and their wonderful postal system. I’ve been here for almost a year and up until now, I’ve never paid for anything — not even a delivery by DHL! They deliver your stuff and if you’re not at home, you can ask them to redeliver it again. Unlike in the Philippines where I have to go the central post office, go to their basement and claim my package. The central post office is so pretty on the outside but hideous on the inside. Not to mention, it’s located in one of the most polluted areas I’ve ever known in the streets of Manila. But then yeah, the government won’t do anything about it because I have this theory that if they make everything computerized or systematic, a lot of these people will be unemployed and they certainly don’t want that.
