The Style Mermaid by Kisty Mea • Hong Kong 2012: Outfit Diary
Finally an outfit post!
For this trip, I tried my best to practice the #1 rule in traveling: Pack light. I could never pack light, at least, not for my hand-carry. I always have to bring several cameras, notebooks for sketching, my laptop if it’s a very long trip and other valuables I simply cannot leave inside my check-in luggage. Plus, it was my mother who booked the ticket and she chose the 15KG luggage allowance. :/[[MORE]]
I basically wore almost the same thing: a furry black hat from Aldo, my leather jacket from Topshop, leggings from Giodano and shoes from VJ Style.

This was my outfit upon arrival. To save luggage space, I’ve decided to wear clothes that I’m 100% sure I don’t want to bring back to Singapore. As you can see my batwing sweater (c/o OASAP) comes with small holes and they were perfect for Manila and Singapore’s weather but it was just too much when I arrived in Hong Kong (13 degrees, everyone!)

Outfit for Ocean Park. Wearing my lovely red skirt c/o Untitled Label.
Funny story: Food is not allowed inside Ocean Park, so most of us were consuming our snacks so they won’t get thrown out (My Breadstix and Oreo Wafers!). Somebody, on the other hand, decided to leave their big can of Pringles. Guess who ate that can? :p

Of course, check out my leopard iPhone 5 case from Cases for Your Gadgets. I love the feel of this case because it’s so smooth, velvet-y like!

For Disneyland, I’ve decided to wear my lace dress from OASAP. Noticed that I didn’t bring any new clothes? Because I don’t have enough closet space in Singapore and I’m trying to save money. Hehe.

A handmade rucksack from Singapore. <3 I also bought my sister a blue/grey version. :)

Again, thank you so much to Cases for Your Gadgets for these! <3

This is my outfit when we went to The Peak. I’m wearing my Paris sweater from OASAP and a glittered blue bow from Forever 21. So Korean~.

On the last day, I wore my very thick sweater from VJ Style. Looking back, I should’ve worn this when we went to The Peak the fabric of this sweater is meant for colder temperatures.
So that concludes my combined outfit post while I was in Hong Kong. :) I would love to post these entries separately but you’ve seen most of these outfits in the past and I’ve got way too many backlog already. Lol, I can’t even keep my own deadline!
Also, don’t forget to like my Facebook Page and follow me on Instagram. :)

Galaxy Girl

For the record, I’m too lazy to dress up lately. I also hate applying make-up on a regular basis. I’m a sweater and shorts kind of girl. But I do have blogging duties, like posting an outfit post. So ta-da! :p From time to time, I play dress-up in my room (just imagine the mess I make when I do) and see what I can wear in the near future. Yes, I “plan” my clothes because I don’t have the luxury to prettify myself every morning and stay ridiculously fresh after a long commute.

Moving on to the highlight of this outfit: galaxy-inspired designs were so “in” a few months ago but back then, there wasn’t a lot of designs to choose from. So when OASAP introduced their galaxy collection, I was stoked! They were offering a wide range of galaxy designs, from jackets to tote bags! :) I actually ordered a jacket and a skirt (not the one I’m wearing) but I haven’t seen them yet because they were shipped to my boyfriend’s place. But yay for galaxy printed clothes! :)
