What’s up, homeslice? How’s December treating you all? :) First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of updates. I just couldn’t find the heart to write something, especially with Typhoon Haiyan hitting my home country. Plus, I’ve been spending a lot of time reading and going out of the house on weekends.
I do have a couple of entries lined up for you, including a bad ass giveaway. But let’s start the month of giving with a mid-outfit post (ano daw? HAHA Segway ang Queen of Selfies!).
Snapback, the urban slang for baseball caps, is back in trend. Well, it was a few months ago. The most notable hat this season is the Boy London cap, the I’m one I’m wearing on the photo. Mine is obviously a OASAP knock-off because it’s obviously cheaper. Hehehe.
But did you know that back in high school, I used to “borrow” my grandfather’s collection of snapback hats? Yep. I was into hip-hop back then. Would you believe?
How about you? What were you ‘into’ when you were in high school?

Here’s the full outfit shot of the dress I was wearing in my recent ~ s e l f i e s ~. I love this dress so much that I’ve decided that this will be my outfit for my birthday (exactly a month from now… excited much? HAHA). :)
I don’t know why but I just love polka dots. <3 I think it’s because they’re not as common as stripes and other patterns? I dunno. My first retro-style dress was this customized red polka-dotted dress I got from Etsy. I also own a blue denim dress from Candie’s and a school girl dress from Forever 21. :) But the cheapest polka-dotted clothing I ever bought was the pink pleated skirt from the first ever Blogger’s United. Hehe.
Well, that is all for now. Goodnight, my little cupcakes! xo
P.S. Have you seen my latest DIY project? ;)

Little Miss Dress Up: Pastel Sorbet

As usual, I’m a little behind with my OASAP Fashion Hunter duties. A few weeks ago, they sent me a velvet skirt and this pretty lilac knitted sweater.

The shoulder part of the sweater is too big, but the length of the whole thing is too short for me. It’s like an oversized crop sweater… But whatever, confidence is all about attitude anyway. It’s not something you wear like a T-shirt or apply like a foundation or blush-on. It’s distinctive and charismatic quality that radiates.

When it comes to confidence, people can guide you; give you tips and tell you what to wear… but if you don’t “own” it, you’ll never shine. Confidence is about being comfortable with your own skin and embracing your own flaws. :)

What I Wore: Lilac knitted sweater from OASAP • Pastel envelope bag from Accessorize • Shoes from Shop Dainty

It’s been a while since I posted an outfit post for my blog, but you can’t really blame me. Nowadays, a quick mirror snap of my outfit, using the ever wonderful iPhone 5, becomes a sufficient photo for the hashtag OOTD.
Not to mention, recent events got me interested to travel and beauty.

I still look/dress like a kid. I should really start dressing up like my age, but at the same time, I want to savor my youth while I still can. Of course, savoring my youth has nothing to do with dressing up like a kid. But whatever, I have the rest of my life to act, dress and speak like an legitimate adult. I can start when I’m 26 or 27 or 28… or 30 (final offer).
On a serious note, I can’t believe that July is ending in a few days. Funny how time flies, and how one word, thing or event can change your life. Lately, I’m torn apart. I’m turning 25 this year and I still don’t know what to do with my life. No, scratch that. I do know what I want to do with my life but at the expense of (possibly or surely) disappointing very important people in my life.

Floral crown + heart shaped sunnies + cropped top = Coachella vibes, yo.

Despite all that, life’s been very good to me. It was never a smooth sailing though. I live a complicated life, almost like a telenovela you watch every weeknights… except there’s no orphans or revenge-seeking relatives.
I’m just hoping that once my quarter-life crisis is over, the complication in my life will also end.

What I Wore: My pink floral crown is a DIY, but the daisy hair band is from Primark (a cheaper version of Forever 21 in England! Even bought a floral-printed luggage £20 there!). My cropped top and dungaree/denim overalls is sponsored by OASAP. I’m also wearing my favorite pair of shoes as of late: Converse Platforms in Black.
I’ve been very inactive when it comes to blogging lately, but I’m grateful that I’m still an OASAP girl. <3

…or Bandila ng Pilipinas. You Decide.
A quick snap of what I wore last week. I recently got a peter pan collar dress from OASAP but it was too big for me, so I turned it into a top instead and matched it with my red skirt to achieve that preppy look. I thought it would be pretty quirky if I wear my mustard shoes. Hehehe.
