Leave The Boy Alone
What’s up, homeslice? How’s December treating you all? :) First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of updates. I just couldn’t find the heart to write something, especially with Typhoon Haiyan hitting my home country. Plus, I’ve been spending a lot of time reading and going out of the house on weekends.
I do have a couple of entries lined up for you, including a bad ass giveaway. But let’s start the month of giving with a mid-outfit post (ano daw? HAHA Segway ang Queen of Selfies!).
Snapback, the urban slang for baseball caps, is back in trend. Well, it was a few months ago. The most notable hat this season is the Boy London cap, the I’m one I’m wearing on the photo. Mine is obviously a OASAP knock-off because it’s obviously cheaper. Hehehe.
But did you know that back in high school, I used to “borrow” my grandfather’s collection of snapback hats? Yep. I was into hip-hop back then. Would you believe?
How about you? What were you ‘into’ when you were in high school?
Little Miss Dress Up: Love, Miss Retro
Here’s the full outfit shot of the dress I was wearing in my recent ~ s e l f i e s ~. I love this dress so much that I’ve decided that this will be my outfit for my birthday (exactly a month from now… excited much? HAHA). :)
I don’t know why but I just love polka dots. <3 I think it’s because they’re not as common as stripes and other patterns? I dunno. My first retro-style dress was this customized red polka-dotted dress I got from Etsy. I also own a blue denim dress from Candie’s and a school girl dress from Forever 21. :) But the cheapest polka-dotted clothing I ever bought was the pink pleated skirt from the first ever Blogger’s United. Hehe.
Well, that is all for now. Goodnight, my little cupcakes! xo
P.S. Have you seen my latest DIY project? ;)
Little Miss Dress Up: Pastel Sorbet
As usual, I’m a little behind with my OASAP Fashion Hunter duties. A few weeks ago, they sent me a velvet skirt and this pretty lilac knitted sweater.
The shoulder part of the sweater is too big, but the length of the whole thing is too short for me. It’s like an oversized crop sweater… But whatever, confidence is all about attitude anyway. It’s not something you wear like a T-shirt or apply like a foundation or blush-on. It’s distinctive and charismatic quality that radiates.
When it comes to confidence, people can guide you; give you tips and tell you what to wear… but if you don’t “own” it, you’ll never shine. Confidence is about being comfortable with your own skin and embracing your own flaws. :)
What I Wore: Lilac knitted sweater from OASAP • Pastel envelope bag from Accessorize • Shoes from Shop Dainty
Little Miss Dress Up: Hipster Mermaid
It’s been a while since I posted an outfit post for my blog, but you can’t really blame me. Nowadays, a quick mirror snap of my outfit, using the ever wonderful iPhone 5, becomes a sufficient photo for the hashtag OOTD.
Not to mention, recent events got me interested to travel and beauty.
Little Miss Dress Up: Primary Colors
…or Bandila ng Pilipinas. You Decide.
A quick snap of what I wore last week. I recently got a peter pan collar dress from OASAP but it was too big for me, so I turned it into a top instead and matched it with my red skirt to achieve that preppy look. I thought it would be pretty quirky if I wear my mustard shoes. Hehehe.
