The Style Mermaid by Kisty Mea

The Style Mermaid | Kisty Mea • Introducing my Hair Bucket List/Wishlist 2.0.
The first version of this wish list, which was created years ago, was just to have long, straight hair — long because my mother used to my cut my hair really short when I was a kid; straight because I’m naturally curly. All thanks to consistent rebond treatments, I was happy achieving my list but I got bored with my usual look.
Since 2007, I’ve done a lot with my hair. I had a cellophane treatment with burgundy red as the gloss color, so my hair would look like red under natural light (and this was even before red was a hair color trend, just saying). I had it permed but it was too high maintenance. Dyed it black because I wanted “lips red as the rose, hair black as ebony, and skin white as snow”, then a year later… I dyed it chocolate brown.
My current wish list is simple, Just add colors here and there. Except for the blue/purple hair, my wish list is nothing too bold or too unnatural. Despite that, it was still a big step for me since the hair color will definitely break or make my whole look and choosing the shade made me fickle for quite a while. It was only when I got my highlights that I’ve completely decided what shade to choose.
For the sake of avoiding any issue, my first plan was to get purple and then dye it red with pink ombre. I asked Helga about the color transition and she said that if I dye the dark purple with red, it’ll just look like plum or something. I didn’t want that shade nor do I want to have my hair bleached twice (In case I want to change color in a span of two months). Since my hair’s health is more important than the opinion of a hater, I went for red with ombre that will soon fade into pastel pink. Two bucket list in one, saves more money.
Watch out for my next entry! ;)

Wishlist Friday

DulceCandy’s Room/Closet
I’m using this as an inspiration for my future house. I want everything in one room with a door connecting to the bathroom and a window with a nice view (or good enough for natural light to touch my pale skin).

Jeffrey Campbell Shoes
Lately, I’ve been thinking about getting one…. Bloody expensive.

Shoe Closet
Not exactly the shoe closet I want because some shoes will come in different sizes and the number of shoes is bound to grow but for aesthetic’s sake, I want a shoe closet something similar to this.

Oh, and I want a 27” iMac with a quad-core i7 as processor, 16GB of RAM and 2TB for hard disk. It’s a customize deal and it cost PHP 190,100.00 according to Apple.com. Never going to happen. I just want an iPhone 5 instead.

Wishlist Friday

Fujifilm FinePix X100
A retro-looking digital camera with a crazy price tag. Based on the review and specs, it’s a powerful digital camera and seems a perfect replacement for a DSLR (if you’re the type of person who hates bringing several lenses).

Sanrio x Doc Martens
I’ve seen these shoes before. I’m not really a huge fan of combat boots but they’re too cute to ignore.

The Room Design
I’ve decided to go sweet and simple with my new room. Nothing final yet but we’ll see in a few weeks. :)

Wishlist Fridays: Fashion

Nebula/Galaxy Wedges
I’m so tempted to buy lots of shoes recently but then I’ve decided to just save it all up and order a customized pair. I’m planning to get galaxy wedges! I have a thing for galaxies even before they became “in”. If you’ve been following me prior kistykreme.net was created, you’ll know how much I love stars. ♥

Native Headdress
I’m happy to say that I’m going to do this before this month ends. :D I already have the materials, I just need to execute it! :) I’ll do it once I’m done with my web projects. So stoked! ;)

Thinspiration: Nina Dobrev
I love everything about her! She’s so pretty and it’s really unfair that she gets to snog Ian Somerhalder. Hahaha. I don’t want to be extremely thin, I just want to fit my old clothes again.

Selena Gomez’s studded corset in the I Love You Like A Love Song MV!

Trip to Japan
When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom!
♥

Wishlist Friday: Home

This week, it’s all about the home (Okay, not really). In a few months time, there’s a huge possibility that I’m going to live alone. So I’m thinking about the things I may need to survive, like waking up early. These are some of the things I want.

"I Am The Master of My Fate" Necklace

Okay. Not really home-related but I fell in love with it the moment I laid eyes on it. Quite expensive though since it’s handmade.

Clock Alarm Clock

I was torn between Tocky and Clocky. Tocky is cuter and have more features but expensive. Clock, the other other hand, got good reviews and can wake up the whole household (according to reviews). I just wonder how future roommates (in case I have one) will feel about this little fellow.

This or That Rainboots

Right after that wretched typhoon that caused me to be stranded on my mother’s birthday, I’ve decided to start saving up for a lovely pair of rain boots but I still can’t choose a design.

These were the ones I like the most but I can’t decide which one to get. Help?

Vintage Book Boxes

My quest in finding that vintage trunk box is still on. I still yearn for that perfect box to keep all of my books but in the meantime, I’m drooling over these book boxes. Who could’ve thought that they’re boxes? If all else fail, I’m considering these lovely boxes.

Jeffrey Campbell’s Lita Platform Boots - Cosmic

Hipster and sexy in so many ways. Sadly, it’s too expensive and I don’t like platform boots that much.
