I can’t wait for the day that I will finally have a home of my own and do all of these DIY projects for me and my family. Most of these tutorials are very easy to do. The teepee and light up signs, however, will require adult supervision.

DIY Thursdays: Mermaid iPhone Case

This is not a DIY project made from scratch. We saw this mermaid 4/4S iPhone case in Hong Kong and because the seller didn’t have the same design for iPhone 5, my mother convinced me to get the case and just transfer it to a clear/transparent case. And lucky for me, I was able to snag a free transparent case. So, all in all, I only paid for the original case which was worth PHP300+ only.

It’s pretty easy to design your own iPhone case. All you need is a plain, preferably a transparent case (You can order online at CFYG, just mention my name when ordering), a glue gun and your design/materials. For a more visual approach, check out this tutorial. Enjoy!

Valentine’s Day Gift and Party Ideas

First of all, Kung Hei Fat Choi everyone! :) Chinese New Year is such a big thing here that I almost forgot about Valentine’s Day.

This is a queued post, by the way. My boyfriend is here over the weekend, so I’ll be busy roaming around the city and its festivities. I’ve compiled, however, a few interesting gift and party ideas for you — single or taken — this upcoming Hearts Day! :)
