Rue Crémieux: The Pastel Street of Paris

See this content in the original post

Located in the 12th arrondissement is Rue Crémieux, a cobblestone street lined with pastel-colored houses. This enchanting street is a stone throw away from Gare de Lyon, but it is tucked away amongst the busy boulevards and avenues of the city, providing a pleasant break the bustling tourist crowds. In fact, I was so surprised that there were barely any tourists at all. We visited during the weekend, and the only people who were there were us, a couple, and a small group of friends. Aside from the lovely colors and the quirky art painted on several houses, Rue Crémieux is also showing a different side of Paris, one that has not been touched by Baron Haussmann during his renovation of the city during the Second French Empire.
